My family spent last week at the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland. It’s been several years since we made the trek south. The drive takes a minimum of 6 hours from our home, but can take much longer depending on the dreaded L.A. traffic. After three magical days, we came home. Leaving the park is always bittersweet. Sightseeing in Salem and Portland
Last week, I traveled to Oregon with my middle child to visit Willamette University in Salem. She’s still struggling to decide which university she’ll be attending next year. Willamette was the last on our visit list. We’d never been to Oregon before, and really liked what we found. In fact, I told my husband I’d happily move to the Pacific Northwest. Enjoying the Beauty of Bellingham
My daughter and I took a quick trip to the Pacific Northwest over the weekend. She is graduating from high school in May, and we were checking out a college she is considering. While I’m not looking forward to her leaving for college, it was a great excuse for a mother-daughter trip. And Bellingham, Washington was a really nice place to visit.
