November is National Gratitude Month. That shouldn’t come as a surprise given that many of us will be celebrating Thanksgiving in a few weeks. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love a good feast, especially if it comes with gravy and pumpkin pie (not together though!). I love getting together with friends and family, the smell of turkey roasting in the oven, napping with a full stomach, and leftover turkey sandwiches.
Sometimes, however, the craziness of food prep and the gathering crowd takes over. We get pulled into the stress of meal planning and preparation, or perhaps into some Black Friday insanity. And then there is the holiday season, looming just around the corner. We all know that the holidays can be a stressful time for many people. What better way to de-stress than to keep our minds focused on what is really important>
I have a Pinterest board for Gratitude. You can see it here. Collecting inspirational quotes is one way I keep myself focused on the important things in life. Here are a few of my favorites if you want to start your own collection, add to one you already have or just share on your social media.
